I have suffered from depression for the last 8 years, but has reached the point where I need help. I am looking for medical help, but I’m not helping my problem is that my family helps me not respond. 6 boys are 17,14,13, 10, 4 and 2, 3 oldest are from a Previus marriage and your gesture from the current 12 years of marriage. I’m 33 years old and my husband knows my depression, but think it is up to me, I try to handle it, but I can not but harm my children I love most are close to their father because they are the ones who care for them, because I’m always tired to cry and it hurts me to see that I lost my children because they can not act as a mother. My husband does not even want to go to the doctor with me. I returned to school to stay motivated, but he does not want me to go to school, I want to support it financially, and not ask him for any financial support for my studies, I have to pay for everything, even my gas and supplies. I just wan to get away from them and let them lead a normal life and have peace can never be with me who wants to live with someone who can not do with noise and is always crying. There is usually a day sometimes two days out of the week that I cry for no apparent reason, I often feel worthless and compare myself to others. I have my days where I feel great, but many days are low days for me. I have never thought of suicide or harming myself. I am 24 and have a schoolage child. Any tips would be appreciated:)

Hi i have been in the army for 2 years now and i recently have had several alcohol incedents. My chain of command referred me to asap and mental health to get screenings. I was diagnosed by mental health with a mild to serious form of depression. Can I get discharged for this and if so will i lose or recieve benefits because of it?
