This book is divided into two parts: an account of the author’s memory of the struggles with mental illness, and a “self-help section” advice on how to recover from mental illness. I had never heard of the author and never read his blog, but when I logged in and saw 20 five-star customer reviews, I thought that I could not go wrong with this book. Well, potrei. My main issues with the book has to do with memory, passages recollecting y personal experiences of the author. The text analysis is reflecting the author’s works today as a blogger, which in some cases it may be beautiful, but this comes out as disconnected, with the idea of change or just put the final product. In addition, the author claims to have a “sarcastic” sense of humor, but I found his constant attempts to be funny annoying as hell. Self-help/advice section has a redeeming quality that is entirely based on scientific research. The author includes a lot of details about the empirical study and information about the physiology of mental illness. Unfortunately, the Board had something that I have not heard before (eat right, exercise, develop your spirituality, getting natural sunlight, get treatment, take drugs, to reach the people support, etc.) If you have very little or no experience of recovery from mental illness, by all means this book will give you a quick summary of the best you can do to heal. But if I want you to have spent many years in the recovery process and we are still struggling or recurrent, you will not find anything new qui.Un final warning to the agnostics, atheists and non-believers: The author writes in a very religious perspective / spiritual in many parts of this book. I found myself having to skip entire pages of information that do not apply to those who do not believe in a higher power. Rating: 2 / 5

This book is good from the bad language in it. When his story was the magazine Guide Post, I thought it would be a Christian. So when hocominciò to read, I was very disappointed. It would have been better without the swearing. Rating: 2 / 5

This is not something that tells a lot. Not that I am ashamed of it or anything, but I want to focus on positive things and it is difficult to do what you’re talking about is how you are suffering from major depression. But for a long time I struggled with my emotions. I had no idea how I felt, and therefore could not deal with my feelings. Took a breakdown for me to understand that something was seriously wrong with how me.Libri BEYOND BLUE give me hope. Depression is not something you just might be, it is something that must learn to manage or take care of you. Even after several years of treatment, research and try to take me out, I still learn something every day. Read about topics that hit close to home, helping to assure that I am not the only one that is exactly what you said depression. Learn from others’ experience “is a therapy in itself and I am so glad that Teresa cared to share her story with the world. Rating: 5 / 5

I followed Teresa Beyond Blue blog at [. . . ] Since its inception in order to discover who wrote a book is like icing on the cake. This is an easy to read, hard to put down (love her sense of humor), and fortunately she continues her references to the pros and their securities to a minimum, and stands by his story. Teresa background as a Catholic rings especially with me, has been addressed in much the same way. I strongly recommend this book. PEG D., Denver, Colorado Rating: 5 / 5

I waited impatiently to read the book by Teresa for a while. After hearing her on radio and later on his blog Beyond Blue on Beliefnet, I knew the book would be the lowest be fun and make me laugh. As I took the book and began reading, I had no idea what I was getting a peek at a terrible history and faith, first it would take to overcome this terrible disease of depression. I guess the word “passport” is not quite enough. I really do not “pass” anything like that. It sopravvivere.Storia Teresa read as a struggle for survival. His life story is filled with a reality that, if you survived, you will never really understand. The forest is dark and the monsters are real. Teresa is the real tones paint the canvas of depression that forces you to just turn over a page that you leave to go to work just to get to the next break in the middle of this storia.Eppure break tension with humor that is almost a relief after the last pages. It’s almost a sigh of relief. Do it with the skill of a stand-up comedian in a Friday night Cabaret. You will find that you are happy for all the Teresa pausa.Se follow, you will recognize this style. Absolute honesty, fabulous storytelling, insight, direct and above all hope for the future. Not too many years ago that Teresa could not see hope for himself. You can see how close and how many ways it was intended as an end to his struggle. Today, extends the reach around the world to lift the second from the depths of depression, dust off them and put his arm around them, because you give them outside futuro.Nessuna story here. You will not find deep clinical trials, although Teresa offers glimpses that can clear the site search. As you are a person who says, “Look where I was. Look what I did and went through and follow me, for I promise you that there is a way out. I promise you, even when hope is not seen in you.” No can do this. . . If this were a novel, would be called a Turner “page. It is not a novel. It scares the shit out of you. Will make you laugh and can make you cry. Worst of all, could be a look in the mirror. Watch you see yourself in these pages. If you can see yourself, read on and see the way out of the woods and discovers that there is someone out there who really understands you. Her picture on the cover of the dust. Rating: 5 / 5
