I adore these videos. Clara is awesome.

It’s interesting she mentions this time why she never uses a cutting board. I’ve seen her cutting vegs in her hands before, and thought if I tried it I’d be a sliced up mess. She did use a cutting board to cut the hotdogs in “Poorman’s Feast.”

My kinda women I luv salt too!

@MenOfMischief HM, I think with her shaky old hands even a sharp knife might not cut easily through the things she’s cutting. Another possibility is the dull knife won’t cut her tender skin if she does slip, her grip probably isn’t what it was when she was young, i know even with sharp knives my great gram sometimes has a hard time cutting some foods, and shes about 20 years younger than Ms. Clara.

I’m making peppers and eggs right now as I type. The only thing I do differently is that I use green peppers (red and yellow peppers are more expensive), and I use egg substitutes (egg beaters) to cut down on the cholesterol content.

I’m sure this lady’s peppers and eggs are very good, but I really think that she should use a cutting board. The way she is carving the peppers is dangerous!

Some of those seed will turn into a plant as long as the conditions are right. It will take a lot longer and you are wasting seeds though.
